 Who We Are.

Not too big.

Big companies tend to be less flexible and slow moving.

They have equipment experience but they find it hard to adapt the way they work to suit the unique needs of each customer.

Smaller companies lack the experience and the capability to both understand a client’s needs and offer the best solution.

We have the experience and expertise to help our clients uncover the real problem and give the best advice, while being nimble enough to act quickly and efficiently to make it happen.

Not too small.

We are an ASX listed industrial organisation.

With acquired health, safety, environmental and quality accreditation, we have a deep depth of experience in the resources industry.

Our growth strategy is clearly articulated so that we grow with our clients to constantly service their needs.

Our staff are skilled professionals in their field.

We’ve walked in your shoes.

We can do this because we’ve been there.

As an owner and operator of high horsepower equipment, including generators and pumps we know the pressures our customers face. Today, more than ever, companies have to do more with less. There is a constant need to improve efficiencies, reduce operating costs and overcome challenges.

We want to be known as a company you can trust to get the job done right. We’re here to make the job easier, because our commitment is to your needs first.

“We’re not a service provider – we’re a trusted advisor.”

Our History.

Babylon Pump and Power (ASX:BPP), is an ASX-listed industrial company that was established in February 2017 by the Managing Director Michael Shelby, a highly experienced executive with a strong track record of success in the oil and gas sector.

Mr Shelby’s vision was to establish Babylon’s presence in the Australian resources sector by solving recurring inefficiencies related to the industry’s use of specialist pumping and power units.

In September 2019, Babylon acquired Primepower in Queensland, ensuring the Company has a presence in Australia’s two largest resources states. Primepower has significantly invested in its service-exchange engines and is now offering the same ready-to-go speciality engines for its clients.

In March 2021, Babylon rounded out its core business to include complementary and speciality environmental and industrial services with the acquisition of Ausblast, which was estimated to be Western Australia’s third largest provider of protective coatings and sandblasting services.

The addition of Ausblast has strategically increased the Company’s service offering, with Babylon now capable of providing a number of complementary specialty industrial services, such as the provision of vacuum loading and protective coatings, as well as water and abrasive blasting for routine cleaning and shut down preparation.

Babylon continued to broaden its offering of water management services with the acquisition of the assets of Perth-based specialist in test pumping and project water management, Resource Water Group (RWG) in August 2022.

Established in 2011 and based in Canning Vale, Western Australia, RWG provides bore field test pumping equipment and related data collection services as well as a range of water management disciplines to the mining industry. These services are critical to water users across the resources sector as they develop water management strategies in line with their environmental obligations and operational requirements.

In February 2023, Babylon further advanced its rental & water management strategy with the acquisition of RBH Engineering Pty Ltd.

RBH is based in Boddington, Western Australia, providing rental pumps and specialist mechanical services in the water management field. These pumps and services are critical to mining operations in Southwest and other areas of Western Australia.
